The palace de la Concorde has a lot of historical marks. The place is also at the end of the Avenue Champs Elysée. The history of the palace goes back to the 18th century.

The French national Assembly is situated just in front of the Palace de la Concorde.

There have been two statues before the obelisk including Louis the 15th statue. Vice king of Egypt offered the obelisk in 1831.

The French architect Jacque Ignace Hitorff added two fountains.

You can still feel the presence of the French revolution history. The obelisk came from the temple of Amon. The place's history starts in 1292 BC when the temple was constructed in Egypt.

The staus of the French king fell during the French revolution. In France, we are having legislative elections next week. New deputies will be elected just behind the obelisk to mark the new history of the country.
