Georges-Pompidou

During the competition, there were 681 projects, and the project of Renzo Piano, Richard Rogers, and Gianfranco Franchini was selected.

The center was opened to the public in 1977. The center is in the city center of Paris, near the well-known gay area of Paris, “Le Marais”.

In the building, you can find the public library, research institute, and modern art museum.
