Can we really slow down climate impact before 2050?

We are now in a time where thinking about dramatical climate changes is not a choice anymore.

One could think about changing daily habits will improve the climate situation slowly. That is only true in a small scale. Now we have to take big actions: political, scientific and industrial.

Change in politics

The first big impact in the world will come when there will be a leader of a country who will focus on climate issue as a first priority. We sometimes think that new American president is more concerned with the topic than the previous one. This is not far enough, Joe Bidons’ projects are small term ambition. The impact should come from the big picture, for instance, how to stop polluting companies in a small amount of time?

Industries are too slow to make changes

Go to the supermarket and count the amount of plastic used. The industry advertise only one change in the product. Not only one but thousands of them will have a real transformation.

Scientific research

If you are a scientist and curious enough about climate, you will know the problem. But what if you are not. The scientific research is not well communicated to the larger media. You will watch a documentary one day and might forget about the problem in a week. They’re still not enough scientific references which are heard from the national or international media.

We should not wait 50 years to come, thousands of lives will be lost. Communicating climate issues is the key to make people aware of issues. This is the time to make a big impact not only in your life but also for others sake.
